Game server hosting FAQ
What do the plans include?
Standard is $20 AUD a month with 2 GB RAM, 30 GB storage and Standard CPU. Performance is $50 with 4 GB RAM and 60 GB storage. Extreme is $120 with 8 GB RAM and 120 GB storage. Prices are for the server, not the game.
Can I change the game on a server?
Yes, when the new game fits the plan you already bought. Checkout selects the first installation. A later change stays on the same service, subscription and server code. It does not create a new invoice. If the plan is below the game minimum, the panel explains the requirement and does not change your resources.
Which games can I host?
Over 300 games that run a dedicated or community server. Popular games can be ordered straight from checkout. For any other game, tell us which one through the contact form and we set it up. The games page lists the full library.
Which plan does my game need?
It depends on the game and how many players you expect. Each instant-order game page lists its minimum memory and the plans that can run it. For any other game, ask us and we recommend a plan before you pay.
When does a server become active?
After an order is paid and the install succeeds. If something goes wrong during provisioning, the service is marked failed and is not shown as online.
Can I bring my own Docker image?
No. Servers run from templates we approve. Privileged containers, host mounts and Docker socket access are not available.
Which locations can I order?
Sydney and Melbourne, Australia, when the catalogue marks them as available. Pick a location at checkout.
Do you store card numbers?
No. Card data is not accepted or stored on this site. Checkout uses the published catalogue price. Payment is recorded through the billing flow in your account.
Do your prices include GST?
Catalogue prices are in Australian dollars and are GST-inclusive. When GST applies, your invoice shows the GST amount and our ABN.
Is ASPEC Hosting an Australian company?
Yes. ASPEC Hosting is operated by ASPEC RACING PTY LTD (ABN 41 676 208 227) in Victoria, Australia. Prices are in AUD and support is run from Australia.
Which plan should I choose for my group?
Start from the game your group plays most and how many players you expect. Lighter games usually fit Standard, modded or busier servers suit Performance, and heavy survival games need Extreme. Ask us if you are unsure.
Can I cancel my game server?
Yes. Cancel from the control panel. Renewal stops at the end of the current billing period. See the refunds and cancellation policy for details, including your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
How do I get help?
Open a ticket in the control panel if you have an account. Replies appear on the ticket and are emailed to you. If you do not have an account yet, use the contact form. We reply by email and keep the thread in the staff inbox. There is no published phone queue.
